Following the initial session on November 20, a second webinar will be held on November 27 to offer an additional opportunity for participation. Aimed at industries in Kenya, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, the session will present practical strategies for improving energy efficiency in industrial motor systems.

The sessions will be led by Dr. Evan Murimi, Sustainable Energy Consultant, and Dr. Ahmed Huzayyin, Head of the Eco-industrial Department at Chemonics Egypt. During the webinar, factory representatives will have the opportunity to conduct an introductory assessment of potential energy savings through motor efficiency improvements. After each session, Chemonics Egypt’s team will follow-up with interested factories in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Kenya to conduct a survey that will also support the factories in calculating the energy and costs savings potential of switching to more energy efficient motors.
