The EELA Project hosted its first Energy Efficiency Forum for Stakeholders on 2 March 2021, as part of the 2021 Africa Energy Indaba.
The objective of the EELA Forum was to update its stakeholders on the progress of the project and to provide a platform for them to network, debate and exchange information on recommendations for the successful implementation of the project. Participation in the AEI also provided opportunities for the following:
- Creating awareness on energy efficiency for socio-economic transformation.
- Showcasing opportunities for the private sector in the diffusion of energy efficient appliances.
- Enlarging the EELA Project’s networks with the Africa Energy Indaba participants and create visibility of the Project.
