<p class="CxSpFirst">The EELA Project hosted its first <b>Energy Efficiency Forum for Stakeholders</b> on 2 March 2021, as part of the 2021 Africa Energy Indaba.</p>
<p class="CxSpMiddle">The objective of the EELA Forum was to update its stakeholders on the progress of the project and to provide a platform for them to network, debate and exchange information on recommendations for the successful implementation of the project. Participation in the AEI also provided opportunities for the following:</p>
<ul>
<li class="CxSpMiddle">Creating awareness on energy efficiency for socio-economic transformation.</li>
<li class="CxSpMiddle">Showcasing opportunities for the private sector in the diffusion of energy efficient appliances.</li>
<li class="CxSpMiddle">Enlarging the EELA Project’s networks with the Africa Energy Indaba participants and create visibility of the Project.</li>
