SIW 2025 - EELA National Stakeholder Workshop for SADC Member States

The eight edition of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Industrialisation Week (SIW) will take place in Antananarivo, Madagascar, from 28 July to 1 August 2025 under the theme: “Advancing Industrialisation, agricultural transformation, and energy transition for a resilient SADC.” ver 500 delegates from across the region are expected to attend. This edition will also coincide with the 45th SADC Heads of State Summit and will mark 25 years of Madagascar’s membership in the SADC.
The EELA team will contribute to the event by hosting a workshop for national stakeholders from SADC Member States aimed at fostering regional dialogue on energy efficiency standards through a high-level side event focusing on energy efficiency frameworks, market enforcement and public procurement. The event aligns with EELA’s efforts to strengthen regional cooperation and support national-level EELA implementation, with a particular focus on Madagascar.
