Webinar Series: Upscaling Uptake of EE Appliances and Equipment through MEPS and Labels Implementation

Building on the popularity and success of webinars under the Energy Efficient Lighting and Appliances (EELA 1.0) project implemented from 2019.2024, the new EELA Program has lined up interesting and inspiring webinars aimed at promoting the importance and benefits of implementing Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) and Labels programme and to support in building capacities and knowledge sharing among countries.
In particular this webinar will provide training and resources for manufacturers, importers, and regulatory bodies to understand and implement MEPS and labelling requirements effectively. Further it will provide a platform to educate consumers about the importance of energy-efficient products and how to interpret energy labels.
To understand and effectively implement MEPS and labeling requirements, you need to grasp their purpose, how they function, and the implications for manufacturers, consumers, and the environment. MEPS define minimum energy efficiency levels for products, while labels help consumers choose more efficient options, ultimately reducing energy consumption and promoting sustainability.
Target Audience
The webinar targets stakeholders across the EELA value chain including Policy Makers, Regulators, Standards Bodies, Private Sector Stakeholders, Manufacturers, Retailers and Consumers.
The webinar will take place on Zoom with simultaneous interpretation. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us should you require the participation link.
