Nairobi, Kenya - EELA Kenya had the pleasure of visiting the Nairobi premises of Tetra Pak, a multinational company that develops integrated solutions for food processing and packaging.

Tetra Pak does not only supply energy efficient solutions to their clients in Kenya, but they are also walk the walk, making  significant strides in improving their own energy security and performance across its operations. The company, has implemented continuous energy efficiency measures and installed a photovoltaic system that currently supplies approximately 15% of the site's electricity consumption.

The company’s progress offer an inspiring example of how sustainability is increasingly central to companies' agendas, and of how clean energy solutions can be effectively integrated into industrial operations at scale. The visit was part of a delegation organised by the Embassy of Sweden and Business Sweden. We extend our thanks to both organisations for making it possible.
