Upcoming: EELA Expert and Partner Meeting in Stockholm

EELA Study Tour Stockholm Expert Meeting

As the EELA program begins the second phase of its interventions, the Program Coordination Unit (PCU) will take part in a study tour in Stockholm from March 10 to 14. The tour will feature extensive meetings with experts and partners, organized in collaboration with UNIDO, the Swedish Energy Agency (SEA), Business Sweden (BuS), GloFin Advisory AB, and Borg&Co.

The extensive exchange will provide an opportunity to focus on the new program, align expectations regarding its goals, practices, and timeline, and strengthen collaboration among the partners. Discussions will cover vital program topics such as Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) labeling, Market Verification and Enforcement (MVE), energy efficiency policies, and mechanisms for financial and technical cooperation. Private sector case studies will also be highlighted to showcase practical applications and impacts.

A key focus will be fostering private sector engagement through the promotion of the Industry Clean Tech Platform (ICTP). This initiative serves as a one-stop shop for industrial enterprises, encouraging partnerships with national and international technology providers, empowering energy service companies (ESCOs), and scaling energy efficiency innovations and investments. Additionally, visits to prominent Swedish cleantech players, including Munters and Xylem, will provide valuable insights into advanced clean technology solutions across various sectors.
