A results-focused international partnership
The EELA project is implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), in cooperation with the East African Centre of Excellence for Renewable Energy and Efficiency (EACREEE) based in Kampala, Uganda and the SADC Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (SACREEE) based in Windhoek, Namibia, as key executing partners and regional platforms. These platforms also convene different stakeholders in their respective regions, provide a growing knowledge hub, and proactively share information with the private sector and all stakeholders.
The EELA project is funded by the Government of Sweden through the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
The Swedish Energy Agency (Energimyndigheten) and CLASP provide technical support to the project.
