Giulia Zappa is a consultant, journalist, and copywriter who has made the intersection of communication, design, and sustainability the cornerstone of her work. With over 20 years of experience in the creative industries, sustainability, and innovation, she spent a decade in communication agencies, collaborating with small and medium enterprises, corporations, and institutions to craft impactful strategies tailored to diverse stakeholder needs.

Beyond her agency experience, Giulia has built a distinguished career as a journalist, contributing to esteemed publications such as Domus, Icon Design, Artribune, and Corriere della Sera. Her work examines the intersections of design, culture, and communication, highlighting the transformative potential of creative industries to inspire meaningful change.

Since 2016, Giulia has been a consultant for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Her work focuses on sustainable development projects, particularly in the creative industries and industrial decarbonization, with an emphasis on fostering sustainable industrial growth and environmental responsibility.

She holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Bologna, with a thesis on design semiotics, and furthered her education in multimedia design at the University of Florence and design management at Parsons School of Design in New York.
