There are a lot of inefficient and substandard appliances in the SADC and EAC regions. The webinar provided knowledge and information on the development, and implementation of minimum energy performance standards for appliances.</p>
<p><strong>Objectives:</strong> To empower the responsible authorities to conduct market surveillance for energy efficient appliances, and make efforts to reduce the inefficient and substandard products in the market. Substandard products affect the market for energy efficient appliances, the economy, and the environment.</p>
